So to be honest I did not think this would work. However since the first time I made it when it was over 100 degrees here in Northwest Indiana with no Air Conditioning to taking it to a bring a dish 4th of July party. We put it in several different kinds of coolers, from a small lunch style to a large 5 gallon water cooler and all of them worked and it stayed hot for hours and ready to eat.
Here is what we did. We shucked the corn and made sure we had as much of the silks off it as possible. Then we put the cleaned corn in the cooler and covered it with boiling water amount depends on size of cooler. 30 minutes later you had perfectly cooked corn ready for your favorite condiments.
This was a Pin that actually worked, I have had several that didn't but those are posts for another day.
Now go to the local grocery store, produce stand or farmers market and make yourself some freezer corn.
Enjoy.
