Well Melted Pony Beads Suncatchers are all the rage on Pinterest (this is the original pin I followed http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=185741.0#axzz2UDUgBbOT) and we made one, ok we made several. The Opaque beads work great for coasters and trivets and potted plant coasters but the clearer beads make better suncatchers and sometimes if you bake them a few extra minutes they become slightly clearer and more transparent. My son made this one and he was so proud of it. So did this work absolutely. We used different pans to make different types and styles. This one was made in a plain cake pan. We made diamond ones by using a square pan and circle with circles using mini tube pans. So, experiment and have fun with it we have and have them all over the garden now. Enjoy yourselves and have fun.
